We want to respect the legacy built by grassroots cannabis growers. We partner with craft growers, and provide a supportive platform to help bring creative new strains to market. We provide consumer and industry education, and want to share the knowledge we uncover from our extensive research program.

Northern Roots is our pre-ACMPR production license cannabis company. Our growing, production and our research facilities all operate under the Northern Roots brand.

A significant portion of our growing will be done indoors in a highly-controlled environment in a state-of-the-are, purpose-built facility. This will ensure the highest standards for quality and enable us to maintain the consistency and efficacy of our products.

We’re creating a research institute to help improve products and better understand the industry, and house our ever-growing strain library. We will be developing and enhancing genetics and creating new recipes to be able to grow a wide variety of small-batch, high-grade strains. We will also be experimenting with the impact of innovations in technology.

Through our lab, we do testing and analysis for our products, as well as processing and packaging – we’ll also offer those services to other craft producers without access to those resources.

We will also have a large outdoor operation (up to 600 acres) for CBD oil and hemp fibre production.
